Welcome to the Lake Ozark Fire Protection Districts' Web Site. I would like to thank you for stopping by and touring our site. The Lake Ozark Fire Protection District was established in 1952. The Fire District Covers Forty-Two square miles in Central Missouri to include the communities of Lake Ozark, Village of Four Seasons, Lakeside, and Bagnell. We provide service not only to the residents of the district but also to the thousands of tourists and visitors which travel through or visit the Lake area throughout the year. The Fire District operates two advanced life support ambulances, four engines, two ladders trucks, four tankers, four brush trucks, two fireboats, one heavy rescue, one support unit, and a mass causality unit. Forty volunteer firefighters, twenty four career firefighters, Fire Chief, Division of EMS Chief, Fire Marshal, DivisionChief of Training, and Administrative Assistant staff the fire District. The district is governed by a 3 member board. The directors are elected by the voters and represent the citizens of the Fire District. "To provide for the saftey of life and property in the Lake Ozark Fire Protection District by serving in a safe, compassionate and professional manner through the efforts of public education, prevention, fire suppression activities, response to medical emergencies, rescues and hazardous conditions created by man or nature and, in the spirit of the fire service, respond to the needs of the citizens and the communities that we serve by fully utilizing the resources provided by the taxpayers of the fire district"
